Since June 2025, the EU FSP, in cooperation with the Animal Breeders Union, has been conducting training sessions on animal health, farm hygiene, and biosecurity. 

These sessions have brought together animal breeders from across the TCc, focusing on disease prevention, early detection, and the responsible use of veterinary medicines, while highlighting the importance of good farm hygiene and biosecurity measures. Participants have shown great engagement, with each session concluding in the awarding of certificates. The training programme continues, and in November it will expand to include simulation exercises and public panels aimed at reaching more stakeholders and strengthening awareness across the community.

Together, these efforts contribute to safer food production, healthier livestock, and improved public health.
